KEM-PRTL-015 · Protocol Charter
Response caching for feed, search, and read-heavy surfaces.
KCCP governs edge caching of ranking and search responses. We publish TTL classes by surface; exact cache key material and invalidation fan-out are withheld to reduce timing oracle utility for adversaries.
Writes that affect viewer-visible ranking (new follow, policy state change on followed author, major trust transition) mark relevant cache namespaces stale. Precision of invalidation is implementation detail.

This charter publishes the contractual behavior, guarantees, and governance boundaries of the protocol. It does not publish anti-abuse scoring internals, exploit-sensitive thresholds, or operational topology details that materially improve adversarial optimization against the Network.
